RX 7900XT and 7900XTX reviews are up!

I’m not saying it’s ok, buts what’s written. Do they use UPS? Because that would explain a lot.
Anytime I've ordered "Ships from United States" stuff on Newegg, it's via Purolator and comes from New Jersey, which is their logistics center. Fairly certain they handle the brokerage themselves, as they sell their services to other businesses. Wouldn't surprise me if they had their own trucks that drive it up here and then hand off to Purolator.

What I'm getting at though is to be mindful of these sort of "hidden" costs. We seem to be at a point again (or maybe we never left) where it's cheaper to order from the US directly. I've started noticing it on camera gear again, cheaper to order from B&H than up here. Even stuff from EK directly can work out to be the same price as Dazmode as shipping within Ontario is apparently the same price as from Slovenia o_O

Anywho, back onto topic!

TPU posted overclocking articles today, this is their fastest: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/asus-radeon-rx-7900-xtx-tuf-oc/39.html. Looks like getting the card to 3.2GHz yields more of what the hype was. I wonder if they decided to gimp the reference card with power limits and poor cooling to keep the cost low so they could claim they "beat" NVIDIA?

After more research: The boiling frog is an apologue describing a frog being slowly boiled alive. The premise is that if a frog is put suddenly into boiling water, it will jump out, but if the frog is put in tepid water which is then brought to a boil slowly, it will not perceive the danger and will be cooked to death.

This is hilarious, poignant, and as a metaphor has a pretty good correlation to whats happening. (y)
I'd go so far as to say it's an excellent correlation :) Same thing as the price of gas these days! "Oooo look gas is down to $1.45! Sweet!!!" We're blind man! BLIND!!! :)

I'm doing it too even looking at the used market going "Well, $900-1,000 isn't too bad..." sigh...

I appreciated Hardware Unboxed review coverage (again). Linked the XTX and XT below, directly to the final thoughts or conclusion sections:
