show your neat n tidy desktop networking and power wiring

double sided gorilla tape they make it clear and brown. clear hold 15 pounds and brown holds 30 I use the stuff all over my house super strong and comes off good when you need it too

The 3m Velcro tape works amazingly well. And you can move stuff around After. Dual lock I think it’s called, can get smaller chunks at Walmart

panduit d-clips are great too.

If you have a printer, these could work (designed to go onto command strips/double sided tape.

My current desk has one of those supports across the back which I'd normally call a shin bashing board if it was any further forward. It isn't quite flush with the rear edge of the desk though so I can push it nearly all the way against the wall and still have a bit of a void. I took 3m hooks and hung what wires I could off of them, and used the double sided picture hanging strips to mount the monitor power bricks.

I'd like to have the spare time to build a desk from scratch as I have a couple cable management ideas that could be built right into the desk and get the UPS off the floor etc

yeh...that's what my desk has too...but I've never come close to bashing myself on it. that's what I'm going to connect all my gear too...including the power strip my Tripp Lite rep just said he's sending me grata. :D

We used to have some in the office where the support was in about the middle of the desk which is where I got the nick name from. So many bruises on my shins from those desks.
