I have two 120mm Silenx Pro Quiet fans installed for exhaust but they don't seem to move very much air for thir size. The specs say 1200rpm but I'm not impressed. Is there a quiet fan available that exceeds 2 or 3000rpm" Does anyone here have such a fan and are there any even faster than 3000rpm? I have checked NCIX etc but don't see anything.Thanks.

120mm fans usually don't stay quiet past 1500 RPM. (1300RPM in most cases)

I never liked SilenX personally and same goes for the SPCR community. All the companies stretch the truth about their fan specs but SilenX simply lies.

Try Gelid's, they come cheap and move a little air while staying quiet. Yates aren't bad either.

Otherwise you'll be looking at fans over $10 a piece.

Gelid Wing 12, Yateloon, many scythes. But you have to remember that if you have like 1 intake ( on most alienware ) the out take will be low. Think about that before changing fan for nothing.

I have a few Scythe's in my case and they are damn near silent

I love negative case pressure! More air out than in....

Thanks AkG. I have no room for 120mm in the rear of my case.I haved looked almost everywhere for the smaller fan at 3000rpm and can't find one. I don't care how much they cost really.Just need to find one. Thanks for any help.

Why do you want a 3000RPM fan? Do you have any idea how noisy that will be?
That's why I'm asking about quiet =etc. I hoped someone could advise about high rpm but I should have clarified "quiet". Is there such an animal as quiet high air flow? Thanks.
