Friends with Freedom had extra data added this week for free.
Public Mobile has new offers almost every week lately.
Referral code 727RLK if you're a new subscriber.
Since my posting in December Public Mobile has announced they're not honoring the loyalty discounts many of us have had for years, so some folks are moving to Freedom Mobile. I'm considering it too after my next billing period in May. Is Freedom's coverage in BC any better since this thread was started? I understood they have agreements with other providers so cell towers are shared.
The Freedom one-year plan looks very tempting for low-data users like myself.
Their coverage map shows Canada wide service, and I know last year it was spotty when you left a major city but I understood that is now changed. I'm still in eastern Ontario so the majority of my needs are met.
Has anyone signed up with Freedom lately? If so, do you mind saying what the connection fee was? Their website says $10 in the fine print then in Terms and Conditions it says $45.
