The Happy thread!

Finally got my mITX running reasonably well in it's new digs... on the minus side... I really wish I'd realized that it was the low idle temps offered by the noctua cooler that were shutting the fan off completely as opposed a flaky modded fan connector before I decided to solder a fan header extender to the header's b-side pins...... ;)
 
Finally solved my BSOD/Rebooting issues on my "new" file server. 2 dead memory banks on the P5k-VM and a dead RAM stick. Now running mismatched 2x2GB DDR2 in banks 3&4 in single channel mode...BUT it no longer reboots at random. Over 48 hours uptime with no errors :clap:
 
So, my brother just bought 4x 7950's to mine with. Because of the help I'm giving him with picking components and putting it all together he says he's going to give me all the Never Settle codes when the cards get there.

So,

I'll have 12x gaming codes to redeem.....muwahahaha.

I will accept gratuitous ass-kissing in exchange for game codes, lol!

I heard last night that my friend's operation to remove his brain tumor was successful, and that it was confirmed benign. :clap:

10 hour surgery and some radiation treatment so he's going to need a few weeks to recover, but no long term effects are expected. It was huge, 5.9x4.2x4 cm. That's the same volume as an iPhone. :shok:
 
I woke up this morning feeling the aches and pains of a 51year old looked out side seen the wind thought to myself Im not going to do my run today , 45 minutes later I forced my self out the door and started my run, I usually only am capable of doing 5.3 Km becaue of the hills and some mind block , well today I started the same route but changed up and slowed down I found my pace where I was breathing the same as if I was walking at a fast pace which made it possible to keep road running I went all over the place ended up doing just over 10 Km I probably could have ran further but my butt muscle on my left side was a little sore which I know means that it is going to get worse. so I stopped .
my goal is to be able to do a half marathon which is 21 km I never thought that I would e able to do 10 km never mind 21km but judging uy today I think I just might be ele to pull it off with in a year.

That is one big benign tumor. But it is even better to hear that there is nothing to worry about. I am assuming that he is talking and all is well? I know going up into the head can be a bit of a gamble.
