First off, thanks for the very in-depth review. Well done.
Hmmm, well damn. Part of me was almost hoping that they wouldn't be so good, but now I'm sure I will get one. While I always wanted to move to the 980ti, it just wasn't enough of a jump from the 780ti SLI setup I have. But this finally looks like a decent jump. I'm thinking that this should give me about 35-45% improvement, depending on game.
Even though I should be able to get at least a little bit back from selling one of my 780ti's (one is going to my son) the price is a little high. Well I expected the $599, but the $699 "Founders" card does annoy me a bit. I really wanted one of these right away but now I think I will have to wait. Also with this kind of pricing, if you look in the past with EVGA that $100 premium is usually reserved for the classified/hydro models. Because of that I am really wondering how this will all workout with regards to pricing.
Come on Evga, I want a superclocked ACX version, or something like that anyways, just bring it in under that $699 mark.
