Is the "holes move" an actual theory or is it just that it's easier to teach/explain the concepts that way?

Been an awful long time since I did theory, but back in the day the military was using "holes moving" as their teaching method.
When dots move to the left holes move to the right.

It's the same.
 
Electron flow is easier to teach, hole flow is considered more technically accurate (results are the same as mentioned) just the understanding becomes a little different
 
Oh that biomass fuel robot thing was developed years ago. Not sure if that video is just crapping on China or not. The screen cap is one of a human rescue robot from Japan.

Audi had a synthetic diesel test plant making diesel from captured c02 and water some years ago. It doesn't seem like it's had a ton of success from what I remember.

It's a neat idea, but I can't help but suspect it'll never really hit major production.

I won't be surprised if most of the focus will be on the jet fuel, especially if it's more efficient.
