And watching portrait orientation videos cast to the big screen is a pita! Although I do occasionally shoot them portrait if they aren't important and I know my audience is likely going to be phone viewing.I think portrait vs landscape is a generational thing.... everybody my age "knows" that landscape is the best way to view videos, control music, and view a map for GPS, but the young'uns coding new versions of existing software seem hell bent on pretending like landscape isn't (and never has been) an option.
Drives me nuts when they remove landscape functionality from an existing app.
