Foundation as a book was also a slow burn. so slow, in fact, i couldn't even get myself into reading it! but I did thoroughly enjoy the Foundation TV series...just as I also enjoyed Netflix' 3BP.
That was a good show. I recall thinking it went off the rails a bit in the last season or so, but can't remember why I thought that lolrewatching an older series called Person of interest, I think that it is getting closer to being this way with AI
if I remember it had much to do with the AI scenarios but it was a long time ago , I remember because i had moved home helping out my parents and dad he loved the show until the last season it confused him and he didn't like it at all but he loved all the previous seasons this was when I got my parents to watch Dexter which they fell in love with lolThat was a good show. and here's me, who's watched the 10 hour YouTube supercut of all cutscenes in chronological order for the gits n shiggles of it...TWICE! original graphics and the anniversary hi res redux!Well... I finally watched all of HALO. I dunno. Never played the games. I thought the first season was okay, but the second season... there were some good episodes and scenes but it seemed like they couldn't decide what the main story was. Anyway, another sci-fi show in the mediocre pile at best imo.
The look and effects were decent though, although I watch these shows to see iconic characters in their iconic costumes! The bulk of the episodes in season 2 had the Spartans fighting without their armour! That is like a super hero movie where the super hero spends big chunks of the movie with their mask off (looking at you Toby McGuire Spiderman!). I find that annoying. Maybe I'm just getting too grumpy lol
I think there was an article saying that even though it was all made of plastic, it was still heavy and awkward to wear, so I'm guessing that's why they didn't use it as much as they should. I guess they partially wrote it into the story too as their armour was confiscated. The bulk of the episodes in season 2 had the Spartans fighting without their armour!
Yes I know the story, but I still think it’s a dumb story to have them mostly have no armour.I think there was an article saying that even though it was all made of plastic, it was still heavy and awkward to wear, so I'm guessing that's why they didn't use it as much as they should.
