The 'What are you watching' Thread

Witcher season 4

Was away with work and smashed out season 4. Without spoilers:

1. It does not follow the books/games. I don’t really care, but if you do then this will annoy you
2. I expected the actor change would annoy me, but it wasn’t a big deal
3. Not a lot of fighting/monsters and more story

Overall I can’t say it’s a must watch, but it was better than I thought it would be. No regrets watching it and I will jump into season 5 whenever it does release (apparently it’s already done filming)

I agree for me it was better than what people said it would be .

I cancelled Netflix a while ago when they hiked the price again. I didn't love the previous seasons even though I really liked Cavill as Geralt. Was curious how Hemsworth was doing in the role, but I don't think I'll resub for it at this point.

Frankly, I'm not sure I would have noticed the change in actors if I hadn't already been aware of it. :)

We often cycle Disney+, Netflix, etc. switch when we don’t have something interesting to watch or have something we specifically want to watch on a different service

Yeah... I dropped to the ad-supported plan which is now part of my renewed Rogers TV bundle (Netflix, Disney and Apple TV)...

Doesn't really feel like there's a lot of good content on any of them, or at least not things that interest me.

We are actually on a cop show binge these days, well besides Silo... which I guess is still kind of a cop show lol, so are watching quite a few things on Paramount+. Not much on Disney+ for us these days either. We watched the new Fantastic Four, and it was fine, but almost instantly forgettable.

The new NCIS: Origins is a very good show! If anyone is a fan of the original NCIS, and particularly Gibbs and Franks, I'd be shocked if you weren't impressed. The casting of the characters is great and the writing is above normal expectations imo.
