The 'What are you watching' Thread

Hmm, I'll watch an episode or two then.

As for SJW, I think that's just silly, Discovery isn't SJW, it's just stupid.
Look I don't care if you're black, yellow, white, orange, or purple.
I don't care if you like men, women, border collies, or courgettes.

I just want good writing and acting. Tell a good story and have it performed well and that's it.

Discovery isn't annoying because it's SJW, it's annoying because it's just badly written.
SJW is just the crutch they use to try to make themselves seem more relevant.

Do I think we need more positive representation in media? Absolutely.
That said, a cast of all Caucasian Anglo-Saxon Germanics would still fail miserably with the horrendous material that is the patchwork pastiche they call a plot in each episode of Discovery.

@Mr. Friendly what happens behind closed doors between folks and consenting border collies and courgettes is between those consenting folks, border collies, and courgettes.

If they're not hurting anyone or themselves, none of my business.

Is anyone else finding House of the Dragons incredibly tedious?
I havenm5t started to watch it yet ,I found game of thrones like that so what I did was waited for let's say every 4 eps then I would watch them all it didn't seem so tedious.
going to start watching this season of reservation dogs I got a few good laughs from last season

Well, wife and I made it through 1883... wow... what a painfully depressing slog that was! I watched it all to see if it would redeem itself but nope, not in our opinion. Bleh...

At least it was pretty to watch; great scenery and good lookin horses.

See, that's just sunken cost fallacy in action XD.

I just turn off the TV and walk away.

Watched the first two episodes of LOTR: The Rings of Power and I have to say I liked it!

I know some of the Tolkien history for this time period, but I'm no expert, so I can't commit too much on that aspect of it and the choices they made. But I like the characters. Show looked very good. And it was fun to watch so far. I'll keep my cautious optimism going for now.
