This thermal paste reviewed by igorslab looks to be pretty good.

My goto for ages was Gelid GC extreme actually. Came in a little jar, unscrew the cap, paste was dense as hell, and had to be applied using a cool mini plastic trowel onto cpus. Worked better than everything else I have/had, but admittedly I don't have the latest MX4s and whatnot. Generic Noctua and similar stuff was worse than the Gelid stuff though, probably because of that density.

Only got the kyronaut stuff for repasting gpus (when im feeling EXTRA brave to do it), but maybe I'll give it a try on my main gamer upgrade too.

Question is, what thickness pads? I *think* the ones I got were 0.2mm, which sounds right to me, IDk 🤷‍♂️

AFAIK, each model has specific thickness' which vary, and I believe some even have more than one different thickness' on the same block.

Know that much for GPUs, but I was referring to pad thickness for CPUs. My gelid stuff had to be troweled pretty thin to not squeeze off the sides, so im thinking 0.2mm is actually pretty dam close to a typical AMD paste thickness.

I seen a few video's on youtube and they were doing gpu's and replacing the thermal pads with better ones,ifI can find the video's I seen I will link them to you.

From what I seen in the video's if you went with a decent brand thermal pad the higher the Watt rating that they could handle all of them did and about 12 were tested.

If you want I ordered this multi pack so I would have different thickness's for my ssd enclosure's and I'd be happy to mail you one of each so when you take your gpu apart you could use these ones to compare what came with your gpu as stock to help you, that way you could compare them and then just order new ones and amazon has lot's of good replacement brands to choose with much better ratings.

If you want me to just mail you some regular letter mail I don't mind I have plenty of extra's.
