Nah. Too late. Synology was already borderline with all their proprietary nonsense, so they can't remove the last nail in their own coffin. Gbye synology
 
well good thing im building a new server ill make the synology the back up server not the main after i get some hdds and some nvme for caching.

and yeah no more DMS updates fearing they will lock the system since it has seagate Exos drives not the synology branded ones.
