My 1Tb Reds (all 8) had over 45800 hours up time. Not one single failure or hiccup. All were replaced lately by Seagate Nytros.

Now I only ever replace a drive if it dies completely or throws a smart error.

Picked up a Festool TS55 tracksaw on Friday. It's an expensive tool, but great for making precision cuts and cutting down sheet goods. I just finished a cutting board today from a scrap piece of maple, but going to work on finishing a maple coffee table next week.

It had some weird coloring streak going on it so perfect for something like this. It's one solid piece 1" thick - nice and heavy. Got the first coat of mineral oil on it and time for a beer.

Here's an urn I made for my kitty last year. It's solid walnut with white maple mitered splines and accents.
