Whoa, nice Dell Tablets

And this is probably about when Apple is starting to crap themselves, depending on how good of products these tablets from Dell are.

Am I the only one scratching my head why between the 7" and 8" you gain 1" of screen but the resolution stays the same? Makes me wonder how 1280x800 will look on a 8" screen. Also why are they only running Android 4.2? 4.3 is out now and 4.4 is available VERY soon.

But definitely interested.

Graphics horsepower on that Atom chip is pretty weak, 1280x800 is probably as much as it can handle.

Mostly because these aren't ARM tablets.

Despite the shortcomings I think these tablets are pretty interesting if they're not fully locked down. The 32bit processor, Linux compatibility and low cost opens up a world of options.

I'm waiting for someone to hack the android ones for win8, then I'm in.

This.

Cheap Android tablet was interesting 6 months ago and I think that's pretty much end of product cycle of that. I have Nexus 7 and I'm not making much use out of it. Hopefully I can make better use of it in the next couple of weeks!

Nice find...thxs!!
I was kinda looking for a netbook or something similar, this may fit the bill.
I wonder if a discount will be given when buying online as a business?? Worked for my monitor.
