Witcher 3 - The Wild Hunt

After you get a couple of decent cards it gets pretty easy.

One of the best games I played. We both drew our entire decks. The opponent probably drew a solid 10 cards more than me tho.

The first time I ever blew past 200 in Gwent my self monologue changed to 'I am a feckin' god of gwent!!!'

But really, once you get your commanders horns, spies, stacking units (Blue stripes, dragon hunters, CATAPULTS!) and the odd decoy or scorch card, you're pretty set. Northern realms seems the one to most reliably get high values in each game. You might be able to do higher overall with monsters, but I'd imagine it'd require pretty much emptying your deck.

So Ansel is now available in The Witcher 3. To get it you have to update the game to 1.24 and then get the latest driver, 372.54, from Nvidia. So far I have to admit it is pretty cool. Both of these are done at 12800x7200.

Apparently there is a mod out there that overhauls the main mechanics of the game and by the sounds of it makes it play more like 1 and 2 then the system they moved towards in 3. If I had the time I'd try it out in a new play through...but too many games...damn you Mankind Divided coming out next week!

Just started Witcher 3. On a gtx 1080. 100+ fps on ultra, man it looks good.

Running at 1080p? Or do you have hairworks off?

I just a couple weeks ago started an all new NG+ playthrough and just last night finished the Hearts of Stone DLC for the first time. Man, I really do love this game. And yea my 1080's play it very nicely on Ultra@2560x1440.

Some of the bosses in Hearts of Stone were very hard on NG+.

I'm finally wrapping around to Blood and Wine. HoS was very good, and I'd be suprised if many people could have picked that story line as the likely outcome. Fantastic.

This game is really insane.

Blood & Wine was awesome but once you unlocked the mutations it got extremely easy. The second alchemy mutation is just ridiculous if you used alchemy. IIRC I was getting a 200% + attack damage bonus w/ my Geralt.

Yep, definitely made my Death March play through easier. The last boss was still a pain.
