Saw that this morning on reddit.

I'm curious what it'll be. Blood & Wine seemed like a perfect swan song for Geralt, so it's hard to say what they'd do with him. Maybe it's the rumored 'Ciri' chapter to link W3 and W4, which I'd be less excited about as I found the Ciri sections less fun in W3 due to her gameplay style (but if she's going full Witcher in 4, maybe they'll flesh her out significantly which will fix that).

They're calling it an expansion pack though so I'm guessing it's a substantial amount of content if B&W or CP2077 PL are anything to go by.

Still wish we had a 'make your own Witcher' game a la 'Mass Effect' or 'Dragon Age' for the next one, but I'm always happy for more CDPR gaming.

It is not Ciri they have already said Geralt

"Songs of the Past will return players to the role of legendary monster slayer Geralt of Rivia for a brand new adventure when it launches in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC."

But that doesn't mean it won't feature her too. Although from the name of it, maybe we will be reliving some past events? I'm just hoping that it is the bridge between W3 and W4. I know I am very looking forward to W4, but this will help pass the time. And I imagine it is going to be a good chunk on content. Like FreeKnight said, CDPR's history with expansions shows this could be just as big as many full games out there.

Will be nice to get back into that world again

I think it's is exactly the bridge from 3 to 4, and I too was hoping for more Witcher sooner than later.
