Completed Workbench

Use your CNC to cut the holes or track into the spoil board. Mine has enough Z travel to go through it. If you are doing T-track bury it below the surface so you can still surface your spoil board.
Spoil board is too low to low to get full depth I need but I would be able to mark it out. I probably need to go with dog holes though thinking about it. If I hit t-track with the laser I intend to attach might be bad news. But your work bench in general just larger is what I wish I had built. Drawers would be really nice too but besides a piece or two of plywood I built it nearly completely from scrap I already had laying around from other projects or things left behind by previous owners of the house.

I'm doing to attempt use to a 3d printed jig when I get around to doing an MFT top. Found a jig on printable that will mount to Makita track saw tail.

I found my pile of receipts. $550.97 including $76.01 worth of paint and varathane.
2x8's - 97.94
Screws - 31.75
Handles - 17.80
Casters - 33.59
Vise - 84.66
Birch plywood - 209.22

So if you skipped the vise, paint & varathane and casters, the basic bench itself would be about $350. Then you could add on those later if you feel the need. I still have enough screws left over to build another 2-3 benches, and half a quart of varathane. So the next one will cost less. :p
