Please do yourself a favor and go with a Xonar. I would not even recommend the X-FI Prelude. I had it. The Xonar is far more versatile and you won't get stuck with Creative crapware drivers too.
 
If you already have an Xfi, try the new drivers. They have finally worked for me. Been using them for a week and they're flawless and every feature is working. Read This.
