OK, I must be losing my mind. I go to the Canadian Tire website and I can't use their normal search bar. They seem to have replaced the homepage with a flyer and have limited selections of what I can do, wtf am I missing something or am I just stuck on stupid today?

Nope, I guess online they're talking about the hack that happened on Oct 2 and the homepage is replaced with a weekly ad, affecting search and other menus on the site.

Edit, forgot to mention about back pressure on our car, won't be a problem since I can buy a performance exhaust that ups the pipe size to 3 inche straight pipe for a nice little HP jump, because of this I dont see the muffler being off hurting anything since our car is a turbo, maybe hurt milage a bit but should thats about it.

There are whitepapers and such on it but backpressure is kind of always bad but been poorly explained over the years. Even worse on a turbo.

Short version is it is all about the scavenging and gas velocity. You harm that and you get a power loss.

They kind of go hand in hand but it really is backpressure = evil and scavenging = good but in attempts to reduce backpressure usually end up messing up the scavenging and gas velocities.

Never heard of this "Kenny-u-Pull" before, thanks. Ya, if we end up car shopping, we will be buying new. The only way I will buy used is if I have no choice, which shouldn't be the case.

For sure, everywhere I have looked, the performance kits they sell take it from a 2-inch up to a 3-inch straight pipe and gain about 15 WHP/10 FtLBS without tunes, so to my understanding, I shouldn't have any problems running it like that for a few days if I have to. We are not trying to do that and will only do that if we have no other options, but so far the wife has a ride back and forth to work this week, hoping to get it into the custom exhaust guy on Saturday, waiting for a call back from him.

Should be an easy fix, the break is on a 90 bend, 4-5 inches from the muffler.

Received a new modem about a week maybe two ago because was having internet disconnects which really have been going on for 10 yrs here, anyway still was getting disconnects Rogers guy shows up today checks all seems good goes down the room where all internet and others things are noticed the cable end is a little damaged replaces teh end come back up all is good he leaves 5 minutes later my internet goes out i do the whole unplug then still noting , My ISP is light speed which I guess subcontracts to different companies which makes the internet allot cheaperr, so I think well I know if i all lightspeed they will schedule and I will have to wait for probably a few days so I called the tech guy he is about 20Km away but pulls over we talk I do wha the asks to try to get it back up he says that it is probably the modem and that those modems are old tech at rogers ( I think rogers bought out shaw out here in BC because before it was Shaw internet) anyway the guys says call lightspeed tell them what I said and get them to send out a new modem so i am sure ok, I call lightspeed and am on hold with tem for about 40 minutes when i notice the rogers guy calling back so I answer his call, he mentioned ha the noticed that someone else inthe build als ois disconnect and that he will come back to check it out , I think great so he hangs up and of course lightspeed answered while i was on eh other line so I am thinking great, but lighjtspeed calls back I tell them whats going on and also about the modem probably needing replacement the Lightspeed tech is thinking it shouldn't be tha tmodem its new I then tell him what iwas told abou it being old tech, in anycase the rogers guy shows up still not internet he does all the testign says signal is strong he calls his super and tells him whats going on and they both agree that its probably the modem so he plug the modem back in and it connects but he still sugests tha tI replace the mmodem Ithis guy was cool in that he did all of this i thank him and calle lightspeed back up tell the new person on the pjhone everythign he says I have to pay for the new modem and tha tthey will send it out I will send the old modem back and then I will be credited . then my doc calls says I have to call can pen becasu they need informatin I went get int othat acceptto say I got through to the gov office after waiign and doing he whole press this press that thing spoke to someone was put on hold was disconnected called them back repeated the whole process agai nand the person said they needed to put me on hjold again I chuckled but he said tha the would call me back if i get disconnected , thankfully I wasnt also while all of this was going on a package arrived and the guy calls me sayingi need to come to the door to get the packs I tell him I ant becasue I am on the other line and have been on hold for 30 minutes the guy was a little argumentative with me but i stay ed polite I heard him drop he packge at my door anyway it was eventful I missed my wokout and long walk and I an feel it and of course today was a really nice day for a walk ut i was stuck inside the whole day . luckily the building does have open wifi that people are allowed to use

@Marzipan Um: @Shadowmeph Mine has been cutting out as well. Couple times a week I was having to go to the basement and power cycle the modem. It is in the server rack but it relies on purely passive cooling. So even though the rack doesn't get above 28'c internally I think it was over heating.

Leaving the doors cracked slightly past couple weeks and it stopped happening so I zip ties a fan to it last night and will see if that works. If this works long term I might revisit this with a better sized fan and a printed bracket to hold it.

If these can't even be in a 28'c ambient space then some are probably prone to intermittent failure just being in the wrong spot, near a window, below a heat vent etc.

I have two rants...

first one. yesterday morning my wife was in so much pain that she was rolling around trying to find some position to gain relief. she didn't find any and agreed to go up to emerg. she sat there (I insisted she take the special pillow we bought for her to sit on) for 5 hours before the dr's saw her and ordered a CT. it showed that not only did she break the ischium, on the right side of her pelvis but she also broke the ilium on the same side, which is the bone above it. and get this? the only thing the doc said he's allowed to prescribe for pain were T3's. the medical system has had such a bad kneejerk reaction to the opioid crisis that they have made it impossible for doc's to give for those that really need them. I know this too because I argued with my GP for half an hour one day for something to help with the pain from my sciatica. he said he couldn't...that what I was going through wouldn't qualify for anything to be prescribed based on the new instructions and checklist they have to follow.

second one. ETSY is just as stupid as Amazon. why are you sending me suggestions to buy the EXACT THINGS I JUST BOUGHT?!?!? proof that AI is still a ways off before it can dominate us... smh.

the first one is a tough one people many times go to emergency for head aches or common cold coughs and so the docs a most emergency rooms in hospitals have to be like in a full emergency tag people with ratings which is to be done to quickly almost like a medic in a war zone and make a judgment call, the second thing you mentioned the T3 I have no idea why they would give her that I would think they would give her a shot for the pain but I guess that if they did that they would only give her a few pills for t3 and then say go to your doc, I am not sure what the proper procedure is for her condition sometimes it rest and meds .
at my work just before leave i turn the TV on the new and it shows wait times at hospital in the area the average wait time is between 4-5 hours and when I see tha tI get memories of sitting in the Emergency room with my father several times waiting even longer for the doc to show up and them do test its rough but like i mentioned I think that is the people that have colds runny noses a head would stop going to the Emnergency rooms those tiems could be much shorter but unfortunately when someone shows up the ygo through the procedure and wait because the doc has to see every single person that shows up that including drug addicts that show up adn then sneak around stealing purses wallets jewellery and what ever they can get ther hands ofr an street people that just want a place to eat and sleep .
I am not sure if anything can be done with this, unless they open up more places and also have more docs nurses and other staff that are paid what they are actually worth .
