wtf, so I spent 5 hrs today digging a hole and setting it with stone for my sump pumpout location in my backyard. I did one last year, but it was too small, causing water to flow out into my neighbour's backyard. He has a little girl who likes to play in the backyard, so I understand why it's a big deal. That's not my rant. My rant is that I feel like I am 80 years old, hole should have only taken me 2 hrs, but with my health and how weak I feel sometimes ( like today ) it took me 5 and when I was done, I collapsed in my chair and almost fell asleep.

For the last few hours, I have been fighting to stay awake, getting old with bad health sucks, considering it's only going to get worse as I get older and sicker with even more work to do around my house, lmao. Old age blows

Edmonton has not given out fireworks permits in a couple years now. So fireworks that were so close that it sounded like gun shots outside my window at 10:45 last night was super fun. Especially when there has been 2 nearby shootings not that long ago.

Joys of "spring" in Canada?

It's been mostly a cold and wet one in Toronto, we had what feels like our first 7 day stretch of sunny days which looks like it might hold another week and ~20C temps.

Here in BC. 1 night AC on, next night need and extra blanket. Weird. Even though it has been sunny there is a chill in the air.

aye...at night we drop down to the low single digits and during the day reach high single digits. been that way for the last month or so. my buddy in Sask had snow two weeks ago and last week was hitting high 20's!
