Crysis demo

My specs are in my sig and @ 1280x1024 on medium settings I was getting as high as 30fps and as low as 10fps and if you call this smooth I'm sorry its hardly that.

Smooth is a constant framerate of 30fps or higher and never dipping.

I also felt the little that I played I was playing a overglorified Far Cry game with a fancy suit and the enemies are damn near impossible to kill. I can unload 8 bullets from my clip into them and they hardly flinch!
 
This game is ridiculous..only the guys with the best rigs are gonna be able to enjoy this game for what its really worth.

nope... not really... I got my settings on medium and some low like shadows on my 6800GT 128mb . Runs fine over 30fps.Looks okay , I still love the game it's a good game.

What you are playing it at is not considered good its mediocre and barely tolerable.

And might I add I just tried to play it again and guess what BSOD :P Oh and another thing that eats me is the stupid auto-save points.. they save it when you are about to be ambushed by 20 people.

He's right about that.

With Vista 64 and my GTX, I had to disable AA to get acceptable framerates. The resolution was set to 1680x1050 with all settings at "High". I was getting between 10-30 fps.
 
Then what's the freaking point of buying the high end video cards if you can't even play the games with max settings..this sucks..

When Farcry was released same thing. At the time there was no hardware that could play it on high until the 7 series cards came out and even then it was still tough! Crysis is doing the same thing, but as I've said earlier.. Crysis feels just like any other shooter that I've played aside from the suit which really you don't find using that much due to the energy depleting so fast.

TF2 > Crysis
 
This game is amazing. Simply put, the best. I played the full demo, and love it. I played it on high, at 1920x1080, and got 20fps, a little dissapointing. But I still had a blast, and yeah, it was hard!! The graphics are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
