NVIDIA Announces GTX 780 Ti!

Damn, trying to cut back on hardware purchases. But this sounds really tasty.

Its okay lowfat, we have a support group behind the forums just for you....

Related to the Topic, while it is nice to see The highest end flagship cards launching... Joe Nobody (i.e. Me) would like to see something mid-range/entry level in the form of a 750TI.

Yeah and I much rather would have seen a price drop instead of the game bundle... For me AMD still ahead in value over Nvidia (well once never settle forever comes out for R9 series but still 79xx is just as good).

Nvidia had it right at one point doing the FTP bundles, as those have good 'value' considering it is the model that most Games are going towards (god...even C&C is going FTP).
That made more sense then what they are doing now.

If they launch a new flagship maybe they will lower the prices on the existing line up, like the GTX 760.

I really hope this happens.... NOW.

I just sold my 560 and i'm running an old 8800GTS until I find something more suitable...

I agree, the Planetside 2 bundle was sweet. I'm actually pretty excited for CnC FTP, apparently they are adding a single player campaign which would be pretty unheard of for an FTP not running on AD revenue.

The prices for flagships aren't going down anytime soon, probably looking at $759 or $859 MRSP, if Ti is faster than a Titan, Titan might just discontinue, it's like they mean competition is about who can one up in rasing the price. "The costliest GPU on the planet yet" is the new "The fastest GPU on the planet".

I take that as a good thing so we can have our current cards for 2 years. I like the 2 years cycle compared to the 9 months to 1 year.

Just cos they release every 9 months - year doesn't mean that you have to buy... I usually go about 3 years (2 cycles) before I start looking at changing cards (this time being an exception due to a new 2560x1440 monitor)

If i was a titan buyer @ 1000+$ .. and this 780ti pops out and smokes the titan .. id probably never buy another nvidia product as long as i lived lol.

Honestly holding back like that when your selling the premium card in your lineup for a grand is just bad business because your burning the people who are your most die hard fanboy's the ones willing to drop major irresponsible $ on a titan when they could have sli'd 660ti's/670's or crossfired 7950/7970's for more performance for like 400-600$ or so.
