NVIDIA Announces GTX 780 Ti!

Screw it.

I might just buy the GTX 780ti and shove it into my 4 year old rig. Was going to wait for the R9 290/290x, but judging from the leaked reviews performance is not promising at all. Whether those reviews were fake or not, mark my words, the R9 290x aint gonna "ridicule" nothin'.

If they are priced the same as a 780 then they will be great value (if the leaked benches are anything to go by)

I'd wait and see what they all bring... remembering that the Titan architecture has mature drivers and the 290x is a whole new one.

^^^ The Titan truly was/is an exception...I mean c'mon....I consider myself to be "hard core" when it comes to upgrading GPU's, running multi GPU's BUT you really have to take a hard look at yourself in the mirror after you hit the "confirm order" button at the bottom of the Window, and know you just agreed to buy 2 Cards for $1200 each ;) .....

I read a "leak" the 780ti will be a few Shaders short of the Titan 9but more than 780), 3 GB VRAM and higher baseclock then either titan or 780 vanilla, I like all of it but am still hoping to see 4GB VRAM. If it comes in at around $700 I just may jump on 2 of em....watch for 3 680 Classifieds for sale soon ;)

Here's the Thread I found someone had posted over at Evga....I like the rumour of completely unlocked GK110 (no gimped shaders) as in more than Titan...guess we'll see soon enough.

If you guys remember when the titan just came out some serious overclockers had a custom power regulation unit that allowed the titan to really stretch its legs. Perhaps the TI is a titan with a much better power delivery system.

The EVGA VRM addon has been around for years. You can also run up to 1.45V on a Titan w/o modification if you got the gonads for it.

1.45 might be too high, could degrade silicon. my 780 lightning can do 1.2, want to push it higher, but not sure how...

they are putting the cards under ln2 when running them like that. its not like a 24/7 oc
