The Happy thread!

At the beginning of October I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, just before my 57th birthday. My A1C was at 8.9 and I was put on Metformin. After a complete diet change I was down to 6.4 in December and didn't have to test my glucose levels twice daily any more and on yesterday's blood test I was down to 5.9, which is back in the normal range. I'll be going off the Metformin after my next doctor's appointment. banana

Congrat's!!!

I've been dealing with Type 2 for well over a decade, but haven't been quite as successful on the diet / exercise front. Mine's still being sufficiently controlled via medication, but only "just" and it looks like the next step (before being diagnosed as Type 1 requiring insulin) will be one of the semiglutides, if the lastest addition doesn't do the trick.
 
Started having a bug for YT TV app where seeking would seek forward and then immediately go back to where you were. With YT Premium, skipping forward once should skip the entire sponsored section. Except since it skipped back it did nothing.

So decided to install SmartTube that was recommended a few weeks ago. Must say its a pretty good app. SO many options.
 
Finally got this system running. Just need to wire up the zone valves and t-stats. Boiler is 7k. The instructions to convert to propane were from a Russian Ikea instructions writer me thinks. Even the tech on the phone said, "Yeh no, that's wrong".

The issue w/ YT on TV not scrubbing correctly made me give SmartTube another chance. Just without ever using my phone to cast to it. It has been a pretty good experience. It won't replace the YT due to the casting issue. So if I need to search for something I'll have to use the original. But otherwise its been good. I like how you can update the app directly from inside the app.
