    Car Dealer Lots Near Empty!

Small town Lacombe Alberta here, car lots are indeed empty. Wife was talking to salesman a few days ago who said availability is now number 1 issue, not price.

    Windows 11 impressions?

I have an older laptop that had win 10 insider and it has magically updated to win 11. Pretty sure it doesn't meet hardware requirements but..... Haven't had much time to muck around with it, pretty much been working every day since May. My desktop updated as well (4790k)

    Whats your latest purchase?

Corsair 100r case to be used to update my sons computer. His rig pooped the bed mainly because he will not spend any $ to maintain it. I took it home to clean it up, installed new ssd with win 10 pro and now I just can't give it back until I replace the old battered case.

Want to Buy Ssd found thanks.

Thanks for the info. I have a rig that has a borked ssd and is pretty much slower than a glacier. Win 7 is still on it but it was from Technet years ago and it seems that it can't be upgraded. I am going to replace the drive and put win 10 on it to make it usable again. The owner (oldest son)...

    Free Gone!

Bump for the test bench, I had one of those when I was into swapping components frequently. They are a handy and compact unit.

    Delete ME

I haven't built a rig in quite a while and no longer fold, mostly because it is expensive to keep up to new tech. Now that I am retired if I have spare cash I will spend it on my motorcycle. 🏍 I check in from time to time but I don't have much to contribute.

    Reusing N95 masks

If you keep them clean and dry between use they will last quite a while. If you see dust on your face or nose inside the edges of the mask you could have a poor seal, plugged mask or too much dust for the mask to handle.

Are you ready for this Alberta?

Welcome to Alberta! I like the Brewster in Oliver area for good eats, they only serve their beer but they have some good ones. Check out Mercer Tavern downtown, they have an awesome Mac n' cheese. Whyte Avenue area has a fair amount of pubs and a day trip to Calgary is always fun they have lots...

Leduc for a young family? Other Areas?

St. Albert is nice and finished well in Money Magazines best places to live in Canada a while back. Beaumont is nice too. Anywhere west of Rogers place is having a resurgance due to the Brewery district redevelopement. Ottewell, Capilano, Holyrood and Bonnie Doon areas are worth a look as well.
