I gotta say I love this e4500, I put the vcore up to 1.375 and got another 200mhz out of it, and my idle temps didn't go up a degree.

if My fan on my arctic 7 spins slow, ( like 900 rpm ) it goes up 1 degree. I know there is a video of someone runnning this processor without a heatsink on Youtbue, but I didnt think it'd be like this.
I'm trying to hit 3.5

But I've got sooooooo many tweaking options in my bios I go crazy. When reviewers have no idea what half your bios settings do, it tends to get confusing.

Just for a test though I dropped my PCI-E bandwith to 8x. my 3dmark score didnt change a bit.

OMG PCI-E 2.0.... we dont even use all of Pci-e 1.0 yet.

Here is my little run I did with the Celeron Dualcore. 1.6GHZ stock, got it to 3.1GHZ, still trying to get that 100% OC! 11222 3DMarks, with the dual 8800GTX's. I think this Cele is bottlenecking the cards...

I think your right, the cele must be bottlenecking the cards, cause you should have gotten a higher score then that, I would think.

I hit a wall on my Q6600 at 2.95, @ 1313 FSB. If I push pass that, crash.

What do you mean it crashes? My 1st Quad runs at 3.2 GHz (400MHz FSB), while my second one runs at 3.7 Ghz (463MHz FSB).

Yeah with my quad at 2.8GHZ, and the 2 cards SLI I pull over 16000. I recently took one card out, and put it in a machine I have which is a Maximus Formula SE, Q6600 @ 3.6GHZ 4GB RAM and 2x500GB RAID0, and scored slightly over 14000.

Wow, I'm starting to feel better.
I guess my Budget build isn't fairing so bad in comparison.

I'd just like to know why do some peoples sm2.0/3.0 seem to be similar, where me and say YY have 2000 point spread.

If I enable Xfire ( obviously put another card in ) my Sm2.0 goes up by 400 points, my 3.0 goes up 2200?? Seems really really odd.

well I got 10840 with stock GPU and overclocked Q6600 @ 3.42 GHZ. If I overclock my GPU I can get close to 12000 points.
