I've got a very lightly used 5800X3D I'm going to sell.

Just curious what people think is a *fair* price for them second hand?

People on most forums are being crazy saying I can sell for $600 because tariffs and availability yada yada.

I looked on eBay and everything looks like they are gouging people too.

Any feedback?

5700X3D lowest price was $260 while 5800X3D was $400. It's a tad faster than the 5700X3D so I personally wouldn't pay more than $300 used for it. If it's $600 why don't I just buy a 7800X3D and upgrade as well? AM4 is dead now since any new CPUs are just refresh chips.

I paid 600 for mine when it was new lol. I saw they were on ebay for 600 as well. A tad faster than 57X3D? You mean half a GHz faster? About that :D

It is a rare CPU these days, the best AM4 had to offer for games. I would take advantage of what you could get for it.

Not a sound/informed answer, but I would have said $300.

BUT, with stock dwindling and most general population people wanting to upgrade vice full rebuild, you may be able to get more…so I would say it depends where you want to sell.

I'll be very interested in it, as it will drop straight into my system and give me a nice boost without upgrading everything all at once.

I won't suggest a price though as this isn't the place to make offers.

Feel free to pm me with an offer.

Thanks all, $300 feels fair/even. Just needed y'alls echo on it. I could only find gougers online and that seemed weird to me. Thanks for the help as always! I'll post a for sale thread now ❤️
