Thread revive! GN is running test on a board that already killed a 9800X3D. Their tests so far couldn't reproduce the problem but pointed out ASRock's claim of BIOS fix is kind of BS because it didn't really change anything.

I can't believe there's 6 pages of discussion on this. 3 more 9800X3D dead on ArseRock's new BIOS. However, at least one case quoted by VCZ is an existing CPU that got updated to the new BIOS and then died.
