Per VCZ reporting, AMD is planning on releasing FSR Upscaling 4.1 for RX 6000 and RX 7000 series.

• RX 7000 will get support in July 2026
• RX 6000 support will be sometime in 2027

Basically, this is related to the FP8 and INT8 version of FSR that was leaked.

As an owner of a 7900XTX im glad they are rectifying that oversight. Felt like they had just quickly left customers behind immediately.

I suspected it wasn't fully cooked when the code was leaked by accident. PS5 use a version of INT8 FSR4 so AMD was just quietly working on it. As usual their graphics division's PR is crap.
