AMD officially announce 9950X3D2

5950x -> 9950x3D2 would be a fun jump but realistically the 5950x still does what I want and current ram pricing and all that makes jumping sockets an endeavor beyond current budget.

Do we think they'll throw in a free 64GB of decent quality DDR5 with it?

Really kick myself for only buying 32GB when I bought my 9800X3D.

I wonder if it will perform much better than the 9950X3D. Im super happy with mine besides my AIO making a fair bit of noise when it get run at 100%. :ROFLMAO:

it's too bad Zen 3 X3D chips aren't readily available anymore as the performance scales the same as the latest top end CPU unless you're using the absolute best / top end GPU where Zen 3 becomes the bottleneck. still, such excellent performance for something so old.
