Well it's been awhile since I built this rig back in October and I've come a long way thanks to many HWC members showing me the ropes with regards to overclocking my CPU, and GPU. I've also gleamed some invaluable knowledge regarding case cooling and power consumption thanks to the fantastic reviews to found here and have taken all the great advice to heart.
My rather modest rig once again got a shot in the arm today when my most recent purchase from NCIX arrived consisting of a 2nd XFX GTX260 core 216 Black Edition and 2 new kickass Kaze-Jyuni 1900rpm 110CFM cooling fans. I never did update my worklog almost 4 months back that I had sold my Palit Radeon HD4850 and replaced it with my first XFX Black Edition. I made the change because I got hooked on folding@Home and wow what a cherry this 260 Black Edition turned out to be both with gaming and folding alike!
For starters I took out all 4 of my Noctua NF-P12s to clean and will also replace 2 of them with the kickass Kaze-Jyuni's. Two Noctua's will be going back into the top of the case, one at the rear will be outtake and the forward one will be intake to assist feeding the Kaze-Jyuni I installed as a HS fan on my Vendetta 2. The other Kaze-Jyuni will be replacing a Noctua on my side panel as a intake and will be a great addition to cooling my two Black editions as the panel fan location couldn't be better situated to assist in cooling the pair of GTX260s.
These Jyuni's are absolutely outstanding for the amount of air they move and noise level, my peliminary results lower my OC'd CPU temps by 8C and my GPU's by a whopping 14C lower than with my old Noctua assisting!!! Both GPUs are running stock at an incredible 52C at load atm. Outstanding considering these operate open air on my test rig at 80C at load with an ambient of 24C.
Anyways on with the pictures...

The Goodies.

Ewe. Spring cleaning was long overdue!

Used some free IC7 diamond tim while I was at it. Better late than never

"CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?" :haha:

All together again. No cuts and booted 1st try. :thumb:

Cards have plenty of breathing space, damn they look nice.

Glam shot...I had to. :bleh:

I like "nice" quality case badges and XFX sent along some nice ones indeed.
I hope I didn't bore anyone with my meager rig update and my pictures were ok. Thanks for looking and one final word I'd like to thanks Linus from NCIX for helping me put my most recent rig addition together, he showed true class and went above and beyond his duties to get me the very last Black Edition NCIX had anywhere. Thanks Linus you rock! :canadianwave:
