Hard to tell from the image, but it looks like they're crimp on push-pin connectors. Something similar to these;

You may be able to remove them from the plastic connector somehow (pushing/prying a plastic tab?) and gently open them up to recrimp them on the wires.

Edit: Wait, you removed the entire connector off the PCB, not the wires from the pins?

Uh. Yeah, I'll need a pic to see what we're looking at...

Ok temps are amazing except I have to have vsync on otherwise I get the fan ramping up to 4000 rpm for like 3-5 seconds then it dies down and go back to 40000 rpm in Destiny 2 but oddly enough The Last of Us part 1 cranked zero issues with vsync on in that.

You should not be hitting 100% fan speed just by running a game without vsync...that would indicate an issue to me.

Or am I misreading your post.

There is most definitely a issue I'm seeing with it on or off same thing I that game I'll try another see if that's the root cause. But GPU log is showing 104c on memory randomly what's odd doesn't happen in Last Of Us at all at any point.

Wondering if these pads are garbage or zif I didn't put enough thermal paste on the die.

I shoulda took a before pic the thermal paste on this was like chalk and die was exposed. This kit didn't have any pads for the back so I added the grey ones thermal right I think 0.5mm I'll take it apart again see if there is any not making contact.

spent $140 on tim pads 0.5x2 packs 1mm 2mm 2.5mm just to make sure I got enough and right sizes. Even used my digital Caliper to measure the junk that came off.

As long as the new ones are the right thickness, I think that looks pretty good. On the back, do you have one section with 2 pieces stacked? If so I wouldn't double up just a corner, as the change in thickness may affect contact on nearby parts. Fingers crossed it works out fine for you!

it is but its very very very thin the pad ripped in a odd angle so added that bit it doesnt overlap much if at all i didnt want those parts bare. ill tinker once im off again see if its just a thickness issue ill know for sure once i take it apart and check pads.
