Divinity: Original Sin 2 ?

Apparently if you sell them to a vendor as the vendor levels up so does the equipment in their inventory. So you can sell him those gloves at level 3 or whatever they are, then buy them back later on at level 16 or whatever, and they'll have the corresponding stat boost too. Just found that out today.

Pretty sure that same vendor mechanic is present in the oblivion/skyrim universe as well. (It's been a while though).

Finished play through #1 over the weekend. Fantastic journey. Was planning on taking a bit of a break, but had a really bad run in PUBG where my duos partner died in the first minute 6 or 7 games in a row, so quit that and started a new game in this. Running with Sebille & Ifan this time since I didn't take them last time. Lohse and Fane as the other two, just because Lohse's quest is awesome, and I wanted a death knight tank character, so figured Fane fit the bill for that better than Beast.

when I first started I had sebille but she died on the ship and at the time I didn't know that I have brought her back. the funning thing was after she died ( at the end of the first chapter. her ghost was on the ship but I didn't talk to her because I figured that she would still be there after nut she wasn't I created a few new games after that and tried to have the same outcome so that I could talk to her ghost but I never seen her ghost on the ship again in the new games.

Speaking of Sebille...I hadn't realized that she had a problem with that undead merchant guy right outside the prison in Fort Joy. Taking on a level 8 enemy when my party was all level 4 or 5 was...interesting. Hooray for chain cc skills though - just kept cycling those once I'd taken off his physical armour, so he wasn't actually able to do anything outside of the first couple of rounds.
I did bump it up to tactician difficulty for this run as it got a little easy towards the end on classic.

Also, Lohse's song once you complete her quest is awesome. Don't click link if you don't want the song spoiled, but figured I'd link it here for those who may be interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8p8bC0zk3hI

What kind of framerate to people get? I'm looking at buying this game but I need a steady 100FPS w/ an isometric view, otherwise the motion blur really bothers me.

Can I expect a GTX1080 + i5-6400 @ 4.6GHz maintain 100FPS @ 1920x1080? My googling has told me wildly different answers. But all of them are back from when the game was first launched.

EDIT: Bought it. Frame rate seems acceptable.

And have any of you tried the multiplayer? Trying to convince a friend to play the 1st one with me in multi.

I'm playing on 'tactician' difficulty. Generally most RPGs I find crazy easy, even on the highest difficultly. But lordy this is hard. I'm struggling to find 'easy' experience / single enemies in order get myself to level 4. Without the teleportation gloves I would absolutely be humped. I would need to start the game over and choose a lower difficulty. Even w/ them there are a few fights I'm not sure I'll be able to beat.

same thing happened to me I actually play at easiest level because it is a hard game.

Yep, it's awesome. I may or may not be guilty of running around stealing stuff from vendors and transferring it to my friend's inventory. The vendors don't like him any more.
Also, combining poison potions and red dye to make "healing potions" and giving them to him is always good for a laugh.

re: Difficulty: I did my first play through on classic, and for the bulk of the game it was a good challenge. Ended up getting way too easy at the end though as I learned the more powerful source skills. Second play through I'm on tactician and it's much more balanced.
You really want to avoid taking fights with enemies that are a higher level than you unless you have a ton of cc abilities.
