So.... according to that, the sweet spot for 10G over 5e length is somewhere between 30 & 60 meters. Quick and dirty test, but seems valid to show full 10G throughput and zero difference in lengths for up to 100'.
 
I'd be curious about different 5e cable quality and it it has any affect. I use 5e for everything. But there is a huge difference between some of the wire I use. The ones I crimped for my cabinet have a layer of foil shielding and a layer of braided shielding. While the bulk roll I got from Prime Cables has no shielding at all.

agree, I would think of things like thin insulation and then EM interferences from electrical wiring close by

lol most people have know idea how to drive the same make yea r brand of car that is built exactly the same same wheels tires everything will drive differently, a person that actually knows how to drive can feel sense thse differences and instinctual make adjustments. my self I wouldn't be that good at it any more back in my time 1970s -early 2000s I used to race every single chance that I had and they didn't have computers to correct or help me out it was all instinct and feeling those subtle changes in that split second where you had to react or crash . I am not saying iwon every race tha t iwas in but there were many that I did when I was up against cars that had much more horsepower better built but the drivers were average rich kids in which there rich daddy bought them their corvette, people now days depend so much on technology that they really don't know how to drive ehile pretty much drive themselves .
I really dont like most new tech like last week driving mobile security I was slowing down for a stop sign a person of a bike was in the other lane came around the corner was a good 40 feet away and the stupid truck brakes it felt like I was body slammed the person on the bike was know where near me and also was heading the opposite way by the time the vehicles stupid anti collision thing reacted stupid thing had to be a glitch
