he got it assembled and W11 installed last night. he took pics as he worked through it, so I suspect he'll upload them into a build thread tomorrow night or over the week end.

looking for an 8GB or 16GB DDR4 3200 SODIMM. it's going to go into one of Brad's daughters' laptops...it has 8GB and spinning rust for a drive, so I'm sending him a spare SSD to make it a bit livelier. I have confirmed it can upgrade the memory...some HP of some sort with an 11th gen i3. I'll buy for the RAM, just thought better to post here rather than start a whole new thread.
