GeForce GTX 580 - Coming this December

certainly will be intresting, GTX475 is ment to be based off the GF114 core: Geforce and will be named as GTX560 apparently. that'll fill the gap.

I reckon its one of NVIDIA's gimmicks, I mean clearly if they were desperate enough to reveal a fake card last series to remain 'competitive' in the market, they'd be boasting about this new series rather than subliminally hinting towards it on an obscure page. The misprint looks like a way to create speculation in their favour without the consequences and expectation of an official declaration.
Besides with their razor edged marketing department, I doubt NV would just let the 6 series hype generate without attempting to destroy it, unless they truely didn't have an offering.

Anyway, thats just my bit of speculation on the topic from a purely marketing and strategic business perspective, sorry I had to be the devils advocate this time round :D

idk the real size of the card, i own a sff pc. i hope the card won't be longer than the 480

I'm surprised they used the same HSF design...hopefully these cards will run cooler. I did not enjoy using my SLI 470s in my tiny room :haha:

^^ You guys really think their is even a remote possibly these Cards will run cooler and be less power hungry then what is out thier right now....(470 / 480).....not a chance, its a high performance Card and their hasn't been a "cooler" new Card out at all since the 8800GTX Cards.....everyone thought they were too hot, then along came the 280's...even hotter...then the 480's...even warmer.....its all about learning to "manage" the heat (if you're on air) or go WC or stay away from these high performance Cards.....me...I ensure my chassis can handle / manage the heat....oh...I also open the windows in my Computer Room and make sure the wife doesn't turn on the heat ;)
