Heads up about Tiger Direct

I thought they closed all their Canadian stores a few months ago?

I'm not surprised at all though. Their deals weren't typically that great, the general pricing was higher than everywhere else, and their shipping rates were pretty high on most things. I stopped shopping at TD when I found out about Canada Computers many years ago. Likewise, CC has seen less of my business since finding NCIX and Newegg.

TD simply became irrelevant in the marketplace IMO.

At one time their bundled deals were worth checking out for basic builds, but over the last few years even those failed to impress me.

Years ago Ncix was my go to place. I hardly ever shopped anywhere else. Now I just go where the deals are. Lately Newegg and Amazon.ca have had the better deals. And it's always free shipping at Amazon.
 
I have a store right here, a mile away. $350 in gift cards for xmas and nothing is in stock. I'm just going to return them for cash and buy elsewhere.
 
Yeah JD, they closed their Canadian stores a while back. Checking their US site there's only 3 retail stores listed anymore.

I didn't think you can return gift cards.
 
Here I can only shop at ncix Newegg considers were I live not Canadian and charges me like I'm in amazon or something. No reason a Cosmos II should cost $988.98 to ship to me lol so I'm stuck with ncix as they only charge me $18 for shipping.
