Help wanted (It's that time of year again)

Wonderful.
My GTX460 is maxed (as it should be) so I switch my display over to my 9600GSO(that is showing extremely low usage) and UI elements are lagged to shit.(even typing this is sucky) My Phenom 9950@3GHz is hovering at around 2% to 4% and I have plenty of free RAM so those are not an issue. :/
Folding is a nice idea but I am not sure if I am wanting to put up with this.

Ok, I guess it seems to have smoothed out for the time being... still annoying that it ever happened though.

I haven't folded yet, but I've always wanted to. I guess this will be the best time to start out. 2x GTX 460's and an Intel i5 750.
 
Hmm, I was planning on starting some folding back up. Am waiting for a 2nd gtx 460. I know when I was using my current one it was getting about 11-12k. Plus a nicely OC'ed i7930.

Will ask more details later but is it better to fold two cards sli'ed or non? Cheers
 
My main rig is down but I'll see if I can run the CPU client on the netbook I'm using. Can't be much help but every little bit and all that.

6600 + 8800GT with both at stock should still be 8 - 10K PPD. That's not peanuts, and would be a great help to the team. (Not to mention getting some real science done... ;) ).

Last I looked disabling SLI was fixed, and you should be able to fold with it enabled, on all 3 cards, without issue. :thumb:

Started up my 580 today to test my overclock again in prep for max PPD for the CC. Its been a while and I was running it stock for a couple months now. I'll do the same with my i7 shortly :thumb:
