Yeah, VSCode is great. I usually use VSCodium. Same thing, MIT licensing rather than Microsoft, and no telemetry enabled. Gets a lot of developer use where I work, me included for certain things. I do still find NP++ starts up faster for quick tasks though.Switched from NP++ to VS Code a few years ago. Definitely like it much better.

Not enough of a deal to make me want to chance it right now. My Kinesis wasn't any cheaper admittedly, but I don't know that this would be an improvement.
