Yeah, VSCode is great. I usually use VSCodium. Same thing, MIT licensing rather than Microsoft, and no telemetry enabled. Gets a lot of developer use where I work, me included for certain things. I do still find NP++ starts up faster for quick tasks though.

I never heard of it will look for it.
I have been using notepad ++ for so long over 10 years it has become a habit I like all of the plugins I can grab that I actually never use but it's cool.

Not enough of a deal to make me want to chance it right now. My Kinesis wasn't any cheaper admittedly, but I don't know that this would be an improvement.

I really like the idea of the left hand numberpad (a boon when using excel), some of the attachments seem a little gimicky. Lysrin pointed out the HWC review (including cringe headline for the 60% option :S ).
