Hot Deals!!!!!

That doesn't sound to me like they're doing away with the stand-alone physical version, just that they're going to rebrand it to align with their online 365 offerings.

I use notepad a lot as it removes all the crappy formatting from Dell quotes and stuff. I have to do a bunch of deleting, but it makes for an easy copy / paste into an email that's a lot easier for a customer to read.
Use Control + C to copy text, but then Control + SHIFT + V to paste without the original formatting (instead of the usual Control + V).
NOTE: not all text programs have that added function built in - YMMV - i.e. some of Microsoft's older software that they haven't updated in years, along with some of the older freeware word-processors.

the online Microsoft stuff seems to really suck. a dispatcher where I work was trying to make something for her mother on her down time but she couldn't do it because on the job site they have no access to the internet so she couldn't finish her Powerpoint that she worked on over the weekend. she was trying to finish her presentation for her mother because her mother's surprise Bday party was the next morning.
