Completed Hyte Y70 Touch Custom WC

I haven't had much of a chance to play with it yet.
Let us know when you do. I know that should in theory help intakes breath better, but I am curious how much real world difference it will make.

My sons AP201 case is all bottom intake. It is off the floor a reasonable amount, but I have thought about trying what you have done. I guess I could just put the feet on something to raise it as a trial first.

This is very hard to pin down as I don't believe the temperature issues I'm having (suspect temp related driver crashes) are covered by a measurable sensor. That said, under load it looks like the hot spot is now maxing out at 83C while before it was hitting mid/high 80s so probably an improvement of 4-5C?

I keep threatening to redo the tim + pads on this beast, but I've personally never had any luck getting a vid card back to decent temps after removing the cooler. :)

Slight update on this.......

Again..... I'm dealing with a random driver crash (gaming) issue that I'm guessing is related to temp somewhere on the vid card. Monitoring the gpu + hotspot temps are both within limits when it occurs. I've been bumping up the upper and lower case fan speeds to encourage airflow over the GPU and that appeared to work in the past.

Just had a full night of gaming without having to bump the speeds up (they're tied to CPU temps so probably somewhere around 1K under gaming load) without having a temp related issue..... temps on the hotspot seemed to hover around 88C.

We'll see going forward, but if I can just keep normal fan speeds even during a relatively high GPU load session then I'd call that a win for raising the height of the case intake space.

Take a look at Intel " Presentmon " . Its a a vary useful tool to take a look around you GPU performance . :)
