Indeed! We have some pieces of woods to close any normal windows from the inside, but nothing on that specific door :(

They didn't make it to my office room with all my PC stuff. Ouff!!

I'm still waiting for the police to make a report. I would really appreciate if someone could tell my about insurance raise in this particular situation. I'm sure it happened to someone on here :P
 
Pad your claim to make up for the deductable. They took your fancy new digi slr cam and an ipad etc...

As soon as insurance compamies stop ripping us off with deductables, I'll stop padding my claims.
 
Sorry to hear about that Inik - being robbed is really not fun at all, I know what it's like. I'd go to your landlord and insist on having either A) a security system installed or B) Steel bars covering the windows?

Hopefully you can get everything worked out with your insurance company, but perhaps if you can put in an alarm/security system it will offset the increase in your payments from claiming from them... maybe.

steel bars make it look ghetto and prison,lol.

just move out,screw it. they say a certain percentage can and will be the landlord,sup,neighbour,someone who knows you/your habits.

small caniche is a bit of work but it makes noise. noise is not necessarily what you need if youre robbing a place...lol.

my pooch would probably bark by the time they were a floor away :D
 
Geeze sorry to hear of your troubles mate, I hope karma gets those b/tards.

That being said IR cameras are amazingly cheap these days you may want to look into getting a set in the future.

Good luck with recovering your assets through Insurance, though I believe the cops will not do too much
 
Insurance companies are the biggest crock of shit I've ever laid eyes on. They take your money, and what exactly do they do in return? **** all. Ooh, maybe replace a front fender here, or replace your stolen goods there--but then jack up your insurance rates to make up for their lost income.

Insurance companies have THE BIGGEST PROFIT MARGIN out of any company. I mean, seriously! It's raw income!

I'd agree with this, but don't most insurance companies require proof of purchase on most claim items of any worth?
