I HATE thieves!

Sorry to hear about your break-in.

My bro had a 2nd floor apartment in downtown Van. and woke up one night to some guy rummaging through his photography equipment in the living room. Chased the bastard down the hall and out onto the street in his underwear! But alas the jerk got away with some of his stuff. >:(

Preventative measures are always good, but sometimes it just doesn't matter. My coworker just got broke into this weekend too. The theives got $1000s of tools (he's a contractor) and some electronics.
 
I really mean no offense to you older folk on these forums, and it isn't my intent to spark a livewire debate; but, times have changed--drastically--over the past couple years. what it was like when you were young, it isn't like that anymore. Youth nowadays are so f***ed in the head that sometimes the only deterrence that will work is brute violence. If you let these jerkoffs get away with theft, they'll just keep doing it. Dangerous or not, you have to stand up for your rights, and your property, even if it presents a risk to your life. If you can't even do that; in their minds, why should they stop?

I will surely risk my life for my family if they are threaten, but I will never risk my life over a TV and stupid stuff if there is not threat to my family well-being.
 
While I agree to a point that risking your life/health over inanimate objects is pointless, it's THAT exact reasoning why these kids aren't afraid to steal it from you in the first place. They know there won't be anything to circle around and bite them in the ass. Sure, they might get caught and do a few months in prison; but then they use that to brag to their G buddies.

i say put them to work, couple years should pay back the tax payer.
 
Yeah. My advice? Dont go starting some Boondock Saints Vigilante Justice things. Great for the movies, not so good in life. Unless you like doing 10-15 for 2nd Degree Murder.

Let the law do its thing. If the law isnt working, dont worry, society wont be so far behind in collapsing and then you wont have to worry about your precious TV.

It's pointless to fight over a TV. Who cares if they brag about it? There will always be some people that don't care about rules and it won't change because you decide to fight for a 1000$ TV.

Tec, I was there and I didn't hear shit. What more do you want me to say? They didn't break anything so they were silent...ninja invasion!!!
