he left NCIX to form his own company - "Linus Media Group" or something rather.
he still does videos for NCIX, he's just not an employee anymore.
Personally, i never found him to recommend bad products. He DOES point out flaws in products; it's just that a forum member will call a product bad if it didn't suit his tastes, but he never did that on videos. For instance, I find WOW themed gaming products as retarded as hell, but there are TONS of people who will ONLY buy WOW mice. Classic one man's trash.... scenario.

he's the best youtube hardware guy by far. there are WAYYY too many people who literally don't say more than the product name, tell the viewer this is an unboxing video, open the box, and then turn off the camera. TTL never shuts up, elric stops talking, logan is reading the teleprompter or something, paul....is paul, and tastyPC is very, very rehearsed.

why on earth do people call Linus a reviewer? he's an unboxer; it is impossible to do a review of a product in less than 5 minutes of on-hand time (unless you're reviewing a sticker or something). he only very recently started benchmarking results videos

out of respect for ss and gba I wont say anything bad or anything more bad about linus but... GU2 you know very little of Linus he was a reviewer for a long time even on this site and a few others he called himself a reviewer and wrote reviews though they were not of my liking he must of done something right to further his career.
I knew Linus long before he was even DOING these reviews and always liked the guy. But when he started doing this videos it felt like a serious cop-out to me and doing something he really didn't enjoy but did it cause.
Never met linus watched a vid or two not much to say either way accept for, I always think that it is a good thing for someone to go out and do things they way they like and it it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
I like Linus, his unboxings always help me decide on purchases because he always shows the product and usually demonstratives it, all the other tech channels seem a little dry and boring.

I used to watch ALL of his videos and I even posted on his forum for a bit when it first opened up but I been so hardcore into starcraft lately I have fallen behind on my youtubes.
He's just so cute (no homo) and has the coolest job ever so I can't help but be gey 4 him hahahaha.
