i found interesting to read... of course it was wall of text... lets me make it little readable...

i do have a 2006 Honda Accord is in perfect working condition..The title is clean and you will have absolutely no problems to register the car in Canada .

I will tell you a few words about the car,the car has automatic transmission 116100 miles and have the VIN number: 1hgej6225wl1344567 Engine: 4-Cylinder rust free ,clean title no scratch and hasn't been involved in any accident. The motor runs very well. The interior looks great(NO SMOKING).This car needs nothing, the title is clear ,it is not a salvage one. This vehicle engine runs very very smooth. No electrical problems on this beauty..

This detailed vehicle makes the exterior looks like it just came off the assembly line. As I know that my current situation is pretty special I want the deal closed only through eBay's Buyer Protection Program in order for you to be 100% protected. You will make the payment to eBay and they will hold the money until you receive the car. ONLY AFTER you receive the car and you inspect it(for 05 days) eBay will release the payment to me; in this way we are both protected.

I am located in Hungary and i have been working here for 2years with my Husband, but now we have to sell it back in Canada because we can't register it here, it has Canadian specs and everything, and registering it here in Europe will take for ever.

My price on it is 2000$. The car is locked in a eBay motor warehouse in Yukon Whitehorse ready for delivery). The price of car $2000 includes all the shipping, so you won't have to pay any extra charges. Shipping will take 2 days maximum.

I have managed to obtain a low cost shipping, Here is what I suggest: we will use eBay which acts like a service , you make a deposit the sum of $680 in an eBay managed trust fund ( they hold the money until you receive the car ), and send the car over .I think this is reasonable. This is a security measure, to make sure that you are serious, and that I am not going to ship the car, and loose time and money

Please get back to me asap if you decide to buy, and include in your e-mail your full name and address State and city where you want it shipped as well as your phone number so I can start the deal with eBay. You will receive all the transaction payment and shipping details from them as soon as i have your info's we are looking to sell this car from someone at this classified area because we think its the best if okay email back for pics
Thank you"

Red flags in bold...

These scammers should invest in a grammar checker. Sadly though, as poorly as that is written, there are people greedy enough and stupid enough to fall for it. Warehouse in Whitehorse...

"Hey I live in whitehourse, can I have a look at it? will save on shipping it and that way i wont have to send you any money up front if the Ebay guys are right there with me right? let me know I really want to buy this for my son, its perfect and we will be 100% protected right!"

its not even a correct vin. I work with vin's all day. Vins are 17 Letters and numbers, that one is 18. And if you count back 8 from the end of the vin, that digit tells you the year of the veh. in this case it should be a 6.....it is a L

What this shows is that Ebay's protection doesn't protect anyone at all.

These have been around for quite a few years up on Kijiji. The trick to spotting them quickly is to look for anything being listed at 1/4 of it's actual value, plus the palm trees in the background of the images often give them away. :)
