You got nothing to worry about for GTX 260 sli as long as the game is supporting sli........I mean the scaling is not perfect, but good enough to match with GTX 470 performance in most of game...

Dx11 is just a joke so far, few games are supporting it and no much real difference even in most of time, unless we are talking about apparent drop of FPS

By the time DX11 shines, I believe GTX 470 cant even run game well already.........

i thought i already told you...

- new amd 6 series is coming soon << primary reason that i should be waiting...
- new game (mostly directx 11) is coming at early 2011 (probably Q2)
- gtx 280 should perform better than gtx 470... (260cdn used vs 300+cdn + 12% hst) because gtx 470 didn't impressive me enough... gtx 480 is so-so and did about 30-40% better than gtx280 and for 450cdn :? ati 5870 improved a lot over old 4xxxx but not enough to beat gtx 480...

and another reason i asked because of dtek gtx v2 + unisink is only fitting on gtx 2xx 60nm... i should use it rather than sell for cheap... consider it as my gpu w/c lesson... i dont care if its leak or not ;p

The GTX 280 most certainly does not perform better than the GTX 470. As for the waterblock thing, buying a GPU based on the waterblock you have is not a good way to make a choice in my opinion.

From what I understand, you have a GTX 285 now. Is that correct? If so, then just keep it for now and make a decision in the future if your needs change. Based on what you've told me about the resolutions you use, you should already be able to run any game anyway.
