Nexus 5

I put PA's AOSP 4.4 build on my Nexus 4 last night. No major changes really IMO but Google is definitely cleaning things up and unifying the look and feel across the whole OS. Some stuff is still broken in this build though.

The icon size is much larger though, obviously optimized more so for 1080p screens. Wonder if that'll change in the official N4 build.

Anyways, I should have my Nexus 5 on Wednesday!
 
Preliminary photos are looking very promising. I don't think anyone is expecting iPhone 5S quality for $349 but something that can run with an S3 or even S4 would be great!

The funny thing is that everyone is all about the speed of the device.. Name something out there that can't run as fast as it does now?

Do people need their angry birds to run that much faster? :rofl:

Guess what. Some people want their device to be faster, even if it's just on paper. Do most people who buy extreme editions really need them? No, they just WANT them.
About the fact that you hate the device - yes, we've got that :thumb:

I don't hate the device. I don't understand the hype behind it. Everyone is making it out to be the holy grail of the Android phones at the moment and its not.

If you look at the specs compared to the S4 aside from the processor.. the S4 is a better phone.

On that one you're right. I do understand the hype (since it's a 349/399$ high end phone after all) but I do not agree with it either.

That is why I said the Nexus line of phones has become the iphone of the Android world. And I mean that in regards to the amount they release and hype that follows.
