NVIDIA Announces GTX 780 Ti!

glad to see his results with a watercooled single gtx780 tho.
im waiting for prices to settle between both green and red camps and then decide what im going to do .. but i do plan on watercooling what ever i choose so this is good info.

This is what I was thinking as well, but now I am wondering if I should wait. I guess it will really depend on what kind of performance that new 780ti is going to have. Well that and not having a set time for Maxwell also makes it hard.
 
I'm thinking somewhere around the same as 780 - titan will be titan to 780ti.. maybe even more depending on how they clock them and what power target etc the build in..
Only time and benches will really tell but if they are $600 for the ti then I would buy now if your needing a bump..

I can't see Nvidia releasing anything else before the start of the summer at this rate (no competition from AMD for another new line, they want to keep them in the game but stay dominant in the market)
Only thing that MIGHT change this is Mantle.. IF it takes off and IF it provides significant performance gains
 
I want to wait for the next series of cards, but having the dual 580s does work almost good enough for all games, with just one issue, noise. I think that is the biggest reason why I would like to move up, less noise.

I guess we will see what this card does but if they do release it at $699 I really had better be a great deal better than the 780 and 290x and 290.
