NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 3GB Review

My budy on the coast just ordered 2 water cooled 590's and he doesn't even game :angry2::angry2:, now I'm really jealouse ,ah well I guess I'll have to bite the bullet too can't be out done by him of course .LOL

Nevertheless, in a comparison between GeForce GTX 590 versus Radeon HD 6990, Nvidia wins.
And it wins because I can put a GeForce GTX 590 in my [COLOR=blue !important][COLOR=blue !important]workstation[/COLOR][/COLOR], which doubles as my gaming machine, and not hear it. It’s quiet enough to use. And that’s a requisite.

And that is the 590 is selling 1000s (straight from NVIDIA staff- they're selling all they can make) and why the 6990 is in stock all over. People can stand the 590 trading benchmarks with the 6990, but they can't stand the HSF that ATi inexplicably bolted on the 6990.
 
If you think the market is cluttered now, wait till the end of April. It will get worse since there are STILL a ton of last gen cards in the channel and more new cards being released next month.

I doubt he can say much due to NDA's.

I would only expect low end to upper mid range offerings. There's supposedly a non Ti version of the 560, GT 530, 6790, and EVEN MORE coming down the pipe.
 
well, the non ti aka 460? should fight off the 6790 aka 6850?

the 530 could be a 430 rebrand or the like,meh nothing too interesting unless they price them to make a killing,
which i seriously doubt,them greedy bastuges
